Years ago, Teresa Bahder in Princeton recommended I read Richard Rohr and Michael Singer​.  Those authors along with Teresa, certainly informed this work.

An ongoing study group about St. Francis and St Clare by the wonderful Nina Hirlaender informed this work, and through Nina's insistence that I read it,  I became inspired by Pope Francis' Laudato Si'.

I workshopped the play beginning in the Fall of 2021, where I received super feedback and found a great playwriting coach, Laura Thoma. She continues to encourage me and provides helpful feedback. Grazie!

My writing group, Table 4-3, has workshopped it with me multiple sessions.

The extraordinary Victoria Buda, the director of the February table read, did a super job, so Mille Grazie, a thousand thanks, to her and her actors.

Recently, I extracted a 60 minute play from the 90 minute original to respond to a competition.  So now there is a second, shorter play, Calling Clare.
